Philips Expands Cloud Imaging Services to Europe
Philips has announced the expansion of its cloud-based radiology informatics solutions to Europe, leveraging AWS for enhanced AI-enabled workflows announced in a press release. This move follows the successful migration of over 150 sites in North and Latin America to Philips HealthSuite Imaging on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Philips HealthSuite Imaging is a comprehensive cloud-based solution designed for radiology departments. It operates as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model, providing regular updates, security patches, and compliance checks. This ensures that healthcare institutions can secure their data while clinicians access the latest innovations from any location.
The expansion to Europe aims to provide healthcare providers with secure, anytime access to imaging studies and AI-enabled workflows, enhancing collaboration and speeding up clinical decisions. Philips is also exploring generative AI capabilities, such as conversational reporting, to help healthcare providers manage increased clinical demands and workforce shortages.
