Payoneer Opens Innovation Hub in Gurugram to Advance AI Capabilities

Payoneer has opened a new innovation hub in Gurugram, India, which will serve as a center for engineering, product development, and AI advancement to support its global financial platform.

Payoneer announced in a press release the opening of its new innovation hub in Gurugram, India, marking an expansion of its technology and AI operations in the region. The facility will focus on strengthening the company’s cross-border payment platform and advancing AI-enabled financial capabilities.

The Gurugram hub hosts teams across engineering, product, data, compliance, workforce management, and commercial operations. It is designed to enable collaboration across global time zones and continuous product development. Payoneer plans to expand the site further as part of its broader strategy to invest in innovation and global growth.

Chief Product and Technology Officer Oren Ryngler stated that the hub is central to building Payoneer's future as an AI-driven company. The teams in Gurugram will develop key platform components for enterprise marketplace clients and financial services, contributing to around-the-clock innovation and product delivery.

The company received in-principle authorization from the Reserve Bank of India to operate as a Payment Aggregator and recently integrated Skuad, now known as Payoneer Workforce Management. The opening ceremony for the Gurugram hub took place on July 13, 2026, at its Sector 42 location.
