Parry Labs Introduces Forge Boss for Tactical Edge Computing
Parry Labs has introduced Forge Boss, a mission-computing module that integrates advanced signal processing with AI acceleration, announced in a press release. This innovative system is designed to enhance modular computing at the tactical edge, particularly for defense applications.
Forge Boss combines reconfigurable FPGA processing with embedded AI acceleration in a rugged 3U form factor, providing flexibility for electronic warfare, intelligence, radar, radios, and command and control systems. The module is aligned with Sensor Open Systems Architecture (SOSA) and the C5ISR/EW Modular Open Suite of Standards (CMOSS), ensuring seamless integration across various defense platforms.
Parry Labs plans to make Forge Boss available to customers in Q1 2026, with further expansions of the Forge family expected throughout the year. These expansions will include additional VPX and VNX+ products, offering a portfolio of modular solutions that adhere to open standards for defense environments.
