PakEnergy Launches AI System for Plunger Lift Wells

Oct 1, 2026
OnPing Plunger adjusts operating settings for plunger lift wells and flags performance changes for human review. PakEnergy reports production gains of up to 30 percent per well.

PakEnergy launches OnPing Plunger, an AI system that adjusts operating settings for plunger lift wells, the company stated in an announcement. PakEnergy reports revenue improvements of 3.5 to 7 percent on wells that were already closely optimized, while gains on conservatively configured wells reached 30 percent.

The system analyzes each well's historical runs, compares current performance with expected results and adjusts tubing differential, afterflow timing and pressure thresholds. It can also flag wells that deviate from their normal operating patterns.

Operators can use three modes. The system can identify opportunities without making changes, recommend adjustments for approval or apply changes within existing automation and safety limits. OnPing Plunger works with SCADA systems that meet its polling and real time access requirements, and it became available on October 1 as an add on for qualified wells.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?

Tensordyne

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
