Orum Acquires Scout AI to Strengthen Phone Data Accuracy for Sales Teams
Orum has acquired Scout AI to improve the reliability of phone data used by sales teams, announced in a press release. Scout’s AI agents determine the most accurate phone number for reaching a prospect by combining data from company CRMs, third party data providers, and Orum’s call records.
According to Orum, its network has powered more than one billion sales calls, giving it one of the most extensive datasets on successful phone connections in the industry. By merging this data with Scout’s AI, the new system ranks phone numbers by likelihood of reaching a live person and updates them automatically.
Scout writes verified numbers back into the customer’s existing tools rather than keeping the data within its own platform. The combined service, called Scout by Orum, is currently available as a gated preview, with early access offered through a waitlist on Orum’s website.
