ORCFLO Introduces Business AI Benchmark, the ORCFLO Index
ORCFLO announced in a press release the launch of the ORCFLO Index, a benchmark designed to evaluate leading AI models on practical business tasks including writing, summarization, and data extraction. The index measures each model across three criteria: cost, time, and quality.
Unlike academic benchmarks that focus on reasoning or code generation, the ORCFLO Index assesses tasks relevant to knowledge workers. It uses over forty test cases and evaluates output using a multi-judge AI panel. The benchmark covers models from major vendors such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google.
The ORCFLO Index ranks models in categories like analysis and summarization, showing tradeoffs between performance, cost, and speed. The company states that the methodology is publicly documented, though the specific prompts and rubrics remain proprietary. The index is available now on the ORCFLO website and will expand as new models and tasks are introduced.
