Oracle Health Adds Coding and Dictation to Clinical AI Agent
Oracle Health has added coding, dictation, and chart review features to Oracle Health Clinical AI Agent, announced in a press release. The company said the new capabilities are now available in the U.S.
The coding feature analyzes conversations during patient visits and suggests professional fee charge codes within the orders workflow. Clinicians review and confirm the recommendations before submission.
The chart review feature surfaces relevant clinical context from across the electronic health record. It summarizes patient information such as medical history, lab results, medications, and other clinical details.
The dictation feature lets clinicians speak directly into any text field, with the AI agent transcribing speech for review, editing, and finalization. Oracle Health said note generation in Clinical AI Agent has saved physicians more than 400,000 hours across U.S. health organizations since launch.
