Optiver and Qube Take Minority Stakes in McKay Brothers
McKay Brothers has received minority investments from Optiver and Qube Research & Technologies, announced in a press release. The funding will support McKay’s global data and connectivity business, which provides low-latency data and transport services between financial markets.
The company’s co-founders, Bob Meade and Stéphane Tyč, will retain control, and McKay will continue to operate independently. Its existing vendor model remains unchanged, offering equal access to its data and transport services for all clients.
According to the announcement, the new investment will help McKay expand its global footprint and accelerate product development. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
