AgentKit includes several key components such as Agent Builder, which offers a visual interface for designing agent workflows, and ChatKit, which allows developers to embed customizable chat interfaces into their applications. Additionally, the toolkit features Evals for Agents, providing tools to measure and optimize AI agent performance, and a Connector Registry for secure integration with internal and third-party systems.

The launch of AgentKit is part of OpenAI's strategy to enhance developer adoption by making the creation of AI agents more accessible and efficient. This move positions OpenAI competitively against other platforms offering similar tools for enterprise-level AI agent development.
