Ontinue Adds Dark Web Monitoring to ION MXDR

Oct 6, 2026
Ontinue launches a managed dark web monitoring service that detects exposed credentials, suspicious domains, brand impersonation and other external threats.

Ontinue launches ION for Dark Web Monitoring, a managed add on service for ION MXDR customers, the company announced in a press release. The service monitors customer domains and brand assets across selected sources on the clear, deep and dark web.

ION for Dark Web Monitoring identifies exposed credentials and suspicious domains associated with typosquatting or brand impersonation. It validates findings, assesses their severity and sends them through existing ION MXDR investigation and response workflows.

Findings also flow into Microsoft Sentinel and the ION SecOps Platform, where analysts can investigate them alongside other security signals. Approved responses can run automatically or with customer oversight under predefined rules. The service is available immediately to ION MXDR customers.
