Onix Introduces Privacy-Focused 'Personal Intelligence' AI Platform
Onix has launched Personal Intelligence, a new category of AI designed to deliver expert-led guidance without compromising user privacy, announced in a press release. The platform debuts in the health and wellness sector, offering users access to dedicated AI systems trained exclusively on individual experts' licensed research and intellectual property.
Each expert builds their own intelligence system using their proprietary frameworks and materials, ensuring that responses reflect their specific expertise rather than aggregated internet content. Conversations between users and these systems are end-to-end encrypted and stored locally on user devices. Onix itself only retains users' email addresses, making the system HIPAA compliant and minimizing exposure of personal data.
Founding experts include William Li, MD, known for his angiogenesis research, and Jeffrey Bland, PhD, recognized as the founder of functional medicine. Other inaugural members represent a range of health disciplines. Onix is initially available on iOS, with an Android version planned for release soon.
