Octane has raised $6.75 million in a seed funding round led by Archetype and Winklevoss Capital to develop AI-powered cybersecurity solutions for blockchain.

Octane has raised $6.75 million in a seed funding round co-led by Archetype and Winklevoss Capital, announced in a press release. The funding round also saw participation from Gemini, Circle, and several strategic angels.

Octane is focused on using AI to enhance cybersecurity in the cryptocurrency sector by identifying and fixing vulnerabilities in blockchain codebases. The company provides developers with AI-powered tools for proactive threat detection and one-click bug fixes, aiming to secure smart contracts before they are deployed.

The funds will be used to accelerate product development, expand the team, and distribute the platform to developers in the crypto space. Octane plans to extend its code analysis capabilities to offchain codebases in the near future.
