nVision Global Adds AI Automation Tools to IMPACT TMS

May 07, 2026
nVision Global has expanded its IMPACT TMS platform with AI capabilities that automate spot auctions, shipment approvals, and auto tendering, aiming to improve logistics efficiency and cost control.

nVision Global announced in a press release the addition of new Artificial Intelligence features to its IMPACT TMS platform. The update introduces automation for spot auction execution, shipment approval workflows, and shipment tendering to transportation providers.

The AI spot auction feature analyzes shipment attributes such as lane, commodity, equipment type, and transit needs, along with performance and pricing data, to determine which transportation providers should be invited to bid. This approach aims to create more competitive and relevant auctions that balance cost and service quality.

For shipment approvals, the system now applies AI to determine approval routing based on criteria such as shipment cost, origin, destination, and internal roles. Approvers receive contextual information, including cost comparisons and provider performance indicators, to support more accurate decisions before dispatch.

The auto tendering function finalizes the process by automatically assigning shipments to approved providers. The system monitors provider responses and, if necessary, advances to alternate carriers without manual input. This reduces administrative workload and ensures uninterrupted shipment execution.
