NVIDIA has introduced the Llama Nemotron Super 49B v1.5, a high-performance AI model based on Chinese AI outputs, offering advanced capabilities with a smaller parameter count.

NVIDIA has released the Llama Nemotron Super 49B v1.5, a high-performance AI model that demonstrates impressive capabilities despite its relatively small scale, according to Hugging Face. This model is based on the outputs of Chinese AI models Qwen3 235B and DeepSeek R1 671B 0528.

The Llama Nemotron Super 49B v1.5 is a derivative of the Meta Llama-3.3-70B-Instruct model, enhanced through a multi-phase post-training process. This includes supervised fine-tuning for tasks such as math, code, and tool calling, as well as reinforcement learning stages to improve reasoning and chat capabilities. The model supports a context length of up to 128K tokens and is optimized for NVIDIA GPU-accelerated systems.

This model offers a balance between accuracy and efficiency, making it suitable for developers designing AI agent systems, chatbots, and other AI-powered applications. It is available for commercial use and can be accessed on platforms like Hugging Face.
