Norbert Health raised $14 million in Series A funding to expand its physical AI system for robotic nursing assistants across skilled nursing facilities.

Norbert Health has raised $14 million in Series A funding to expand its physical AI control system for robotic nursing assistants, the company said in a press release.

The round was supported by William A. Marino with Cardinal Group, with participation from Exor Seeds, CareIT, and angel investors. Norbert's software runs on partner robotic hardware and gives robots clinical voice and sensing functions.

The robots make rounds, capture vitals without contact, run assessments, handle patient requests, and document encounters in electronic health records. The system has been in use across skilled nursing facilities in the United States since August 2025, rounding on hundreds of patients daily.

Norbert plans to use the funding to expand its clinical skill library, advance regulatory clearances, and increase deployments in skilled nursing and other care settings. Current work includes neurological checks after falls, pressure injury prevention protocols, cognitive screening, and fall risk reassessment.
