Nectar Integrates Model Context Protocol for AI-Driven Communications Insights

March 06, 2026
Nectar Services Corp. has introduced integration with the Model Context Protocol (MCP), enabling AI systems to access real-time communications observability data across unified communications and contact center environments.

Nectar Services Corp. has added support for the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard developed by Anthropic that connects AI systems to external data, announced in a press release. The integration allows enterprises to use natural language to query communications data and receive real-time, context-rich insights.

The MCP integration gives AI assistants and autonomous agents direct access to operational observability data from unified communications and contact center environments. This enables automated diagnostics, natural-language queries, and AI-driven workflows without requiring complex integrations or vendor lock-in.

According to Nectar, several enterprise customers and managed service partners are already using the early alpha release. These organizations have reported faster diagnostic times and reduced alert noise across multi-vendor environments. The company plans to expand its early access program through 2026, with general availability details expected later this year.

Nectar will showcase the MCP capabilities at Enterprise Connect, where attendees can view live demonstrations at its booth.
