Nebius Deploys 10MW NVIDIA GPU Cluster at Verne's Icelandic Data Center
Nebius, a global AI infrastructure provider, has partnered with Verne to deploy a 10MW cluster of NVIDIA H200 GPUs at Verne's data center campus in Iceland, announced in a press release. This marks the largest single implementation in Verne Iceland's history.
The installation is part of Nebius' strategy to expand its AI infrastructure across the US and Europe, focusing on scalable and energy-efficient solutions for intensive AI workloads. Verne's Icelandic facility, powered entirely by renewable hydroelectric and geothermal energy, aligns with Nebius' commitment to sustainability.
Dominic Ward, CEO of Verne, highlighted the partnership's significance in providing sustainable data center services at scale, supporting the rapid growth of the AI industry while minimizing environmental impact. Andrey Korolenko, Co-founder and Chief Product and Infrastructure Officer at Nebius, emphasized the technical expertise and flexibility offered by Verne, enabling Nebius to quickly and sustainably bring AI-centric solutions to market.
