Nasuni Acquires DryvIQ to Add Unstructured Data Governance for AI

Nasuni has acquired DryvIQ to add content intelligence, classification, sensitivity detection, and automated governance to its file data platform for enterprise unstructured data.

Nasuni has acquired DryvIQ, adding content intelligence and governance features to its file data platform, the company announced in a press release.

DryvIQ adds content discovery, classification, sensitivity detection, and automated governance for unstructured data across more than 40 cloud and on premises repositories. The tools scan more than 550 file formats, over 100 entity types, and more than 1,000 business document types, with detection for PII, PHI, and PCI data across more than 175 languages.

Nasuni said the added features can apply policy rules to quarantine high risk content, add retention and sensitivity labels, fix permissions, and support defensible deletion. Policy enforcement can be mapped to frameworks including GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.

DryvIQ is available immediately. Nasuni plans to expand the integration with its file data platform over the coming months.
