MixMode has received a Department of War Certificate to Field and a U.S. Intelligence Community Authority to Operate for its AI cyber defense platform, the company announced in a press release.

The Certificate to Field confirms that the platform was evaluated against Department of War software security and risk standards and approved for use on the granting component's information systems. The Intelligence Community Authority to Operate authorizes the platform to run in high security operational environments.

MixMode said its platform monitors network traffic, cloud activity, and user activity in real time. The system builds a model of expected behavior in each environment and flags activity that does not match it, including novel attacks, AI generated attacks, insider threats, and nation state activity.

The company said the approvals support wider use of its platform in U.S. defense and intelligence environments.
