MiniMax released an updated M3.1 Flash model with claimed gains in agent tasks, programming, cybersecurity, inference speed and cost.

Chinese AI company MiniMax released an updated version of its M3.1 Flash model, according to Reuters.

MiniMax said the model improves performance on agent tasks, programming and cybersecurity. The company also said online inference is nearly three times faster, while usage costs have fallen by 70%.
