MIC Global and inDrive have expanded their insurance partnership to 18 countries. The trip based policy covers drivers and passengers for risks during rides booked through the inDrive app, including medical expenses after an accident.

The policy applies to trips booked through the inDrive app and covers drivers and passengers for several risks, including medical expenses after an accident during a ride. The partnership began in 2024 with coverage in three countries.

MIC Global handles underwriting, compliance, and claims for the program. The company uses AI enabled technology, automated claims processes, and platform verified trip data to assess claims.

inDrive operates in more than 1,200 cities across 48 countries and has more than 400 million app downloads. Its services include ride hailing, intercity transportation, delivery, and financial services.
