Metriport Raises $26 Million for Patient Record Platform
Metriport has raised $26 million in new funding to expand its healthcare data infrastructure platform, the company announced in a press release. The round was led by TJ Parker, general partner at Matrix, with participation from ARTIS and Y Combinator, and brings total funding to $28.4 million.
The San Francisco company says its platform pulls patient records from major healthcare data sources, then matches, extracts, standardizes, removes duplicates, and enriches them. Records are converted into a unified data model and made available through a single API, a data warehouse, or apps inside an electronic health record system.
Metriport said customers using the platform include Amazon One Medical, Sollis Health, and Color Health. Its tools include alerts as patients move through the healthcare system and AI medical record summarization for clinicians.
The company recently achieved HITRUST r2 Certification. It plans to use the funding to scale the platform and expand AI, machine learning, and agentic capabilities.
