Metric Secures €8 Million for AI Marketing Expansion
Norwegian AI startup Metric has raised €8 million in a Series A funding round led by chess champion Magnus Carlsen, announced in a press release. The funding will be used to expand Metric's global reach and enhance its AI technology for e-commerce advertising.
The investment round also included participation from notable figures such as Johan Brand, founder of Kahoot, and TRY, a leading Norwegian marketing agency. Additional contributions came from MP Pensjon, Kvantia, Altitude Capital, and Marketer Group.
Metric plans to use the funds to improve its AI capabilities for automating marketing tasks, managing budgets, and optimizing performance. The company also announced the launch of a fully automated marketing platform for Shopify businesses, offering one-click solutions to enhance campaign performance.
The platform aims to simplify digital advertising for Shopify merchants by automating campaign creation and optimization across platforms like Meta and Google. This approach helps brands improve their return on ad spend (ROAS) and scale more effectively, with Metric adding hundreds of new clients each month in markets such as the US, Norway, UK, and Australia.
