Meta Platforms, Inc. has released Muse Glimmer, a 30 billion parameter open model for local AI agents, announced on its developer website. The model is licensed under Apache 2.0 and is designed to run on a single GPU for tool use, long tasks, and failure recovery.

Muse Glimmer supports persistent state across restarts and memory management for sessions that run for hours. Meta lists support materials for prompting, quantization, speculative decoding, vLLM, llama.cpp, and ExecuTorch.

Meta says the full model card is available on Hugging Face. Local deployment paths also include SGLang and NVIDIA NIM containers.
