Meta Expands AI Video Feed 'Vibes' to Europe
Meta has launched its AI-generated short-form video feed, Vibes, in Europe through the Meta AI app, announced in a press release. The expansion follows the feature’s earlier release in the United States six weeks ago.
Vibes lets users create, remix, and share short AI-generated videos using text prompts. The feed displays AI-generated videos from other users and becomes more personalized over time. Meta describes the experience as social and collaborative, enabling users to co-create and share content directly to the Vibes feed or cross-post to Instagram and Facebook Stories and Reels.
The Meta AI app now serves as a central hub for creative tools, AI chat, and media management. Users can interact with the Meta AI assistant, generate and animate images, and edit photos using AI-powered tools. The app also allows management of Meta’s AI glasses and integration of captured media.
Meta reported that since Vibes’ initial launch in the U.S., media generation within the app has increased more than tenfold, with over 20 billion images created using its AI tools.
