MarqVision, an AI startup from Los Angeles, has raised $48 million in a Series B funding round to expand its brand protection platform, according to TechCrunch.

MarqVision has raised $48 million in a Series B funding round to enhance its AI-driven platform for combating brand abuse, according to TechCrunch. The Los Angeles-based startup, founded by Mark Lee, aims to use the new capital to expand its AI and engineering teams, integrate generative AI across its products, and enter new markets such as Japan.

The funding round was led by Peak XV Partners, with participation from Salesforce Ventures, HSG, Coral Capital, and Michael Seibel, among others. MarqVision plans to allocate $10 million of the funds to make its platform enterprise-ready and another $10 million for regional expansion.

MarqVision's platform uses AI-powered computer vision to detect and remove counterfeit products online, helping brands recover lost revenue. The company serves over 350 customers worldwide across various industries, including fashion, pharmaceuticals, and consumer electronics. With this latest funding, MarqVision aims to further redefine brand protection by integrating AI with legal expertise, enabling brands to enforce their rights more efficiently.
