Lōvu Health Secures $8 Million to Enhance Maternal Healthcare
Lōvu Health, a digital platform focused on maternal healthcare, has secured $8 million in Series A funding, announced in a press release. The funding round was led by SJF Ventures, with participation from several other investors.
Lōvu Health aims to transform maternal care by providing continuous and connected wellness support from conception through postpartum. The platform leverages AI technology to enhance clinical practices, offering real-time remote patient monitoring and personalized care journeys. This approach addresses significant gaps in the current maternal care model in the United States, where many women lack access to necessary prenatal and postnatal care.
The newly acquired funds will be used to further develop Lōvu's AI capabilities, including the launch of three new augmentative agents. The company plans to enhance automation and integration features, as well as expand its team to meet growing demand. Lōvu's platform is designed to support mothers regardless of their insurance status, providing access to specialty care and social support while reducing the administrative burden on clinicians.
