Lemonade adds Tesla FSD v14 Lite insurance pricing
Lemonade expands its FSD based auto insurance pricing program to HW3 vehicles running FSD v14 Lite in Arizona, Colorado and Tennessee, the company said in a press release.
Eligible drivers can pay 30% less for miles driven with FSD v14 Lite engaged. Drivers using HW4 vehicles with FSD v14.2 or newer continue to receive a 50% discount on those miles.
Lemonade uses the Fleet API from Tesla, Inc., with customer permission, to distinguish between miles driven with FSD engaged and miles driven by a person. Tesla's Full Self Driving system requires active driver supervision and does not make a vehicle autonomous.
