Labbit has introduced the Validation Assistant, an AI capability that automates test planning, execution, and audit-ready documentation for configuration updates in regulated laboratories, announced in a press release.

The Validation Assistant automates the qualification process for system configuration changes. When a new configuration is created, it identifies modifications, generates test plans and scripts, executes qualification runs, and compiles a documentation package. This package includes the configuration specification, test plan, execution log, and summary report, which can be incorporated into broader validation documentation.

The feature is designed to reduce manual revalidation efforts while maintaining compliance and traceability. Labbit will demonstrate the Validation Assistant at booth 518 during the Bio IT World Conference and Expo in Boston from May 19 to 21.

The company, formerly known as Semaphore Solutions, provides a laboratory information management platform for regulated laboratories in molecular diagnostics, cell and gene therapy, and quality control manufacturing.
