Kyndryl to Invest $2.25 Billion in India for AI and Talent Development
Kyndryl has announced plans to invest $2.25 billion in India over the next three years, focusing on modernizing technology infrastructure and advancing AI initiatives, announced in a press release. This investment will include the establishment of an AI Innovation Lab in Bengaluru, aimed at enhancing Kyndryl's AI-powered consulting services.
The company is also deepening its collaboration with the Government of India to drive AI-led transformation in governance. A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed with the Ministry of Commerce & Industry to demonstrate AI applications in regulatory reform.
Kyndryl's commitment extends to talent development, with plans to support digital training for approximately 200,000 citizens and establish offices in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities to tap into high-potential talent. The initiative aligns with India's digital public infrastructure goals and aims to contribute to the country's long-term economic health.
