IQAX Launches eBL Pilot with Tianjin Consol and EZShipping
IQAX has begun a pilot with Tianjin Consol and EZShipping to introduce a blockchain-based electronic Bill of Lading (eBL) system for less than container load freight operations, announced in a press release.
The pilot integrates IQAX's eBL and its IQAX One platform, which combines digital documentation, data, and workflow orchestration. Tianjin Consol is using the solution as a web-based service without modifying existing IT infrastructure. This setup allows shippers, consignees, and partners to join the bill of lading process online, accelerating document circulation and improving cargo release coordination.
EZShipping's AI document processing is combined with IQAX's eBL issuance to create a fully digital workflow from data submission to bill of lading transfer. The system is designed to reduce documentation friction, enhance cargo control, and streamline high-volume operations. IQAX stated that the pilot demonstrates how eBL can be applied at scale in LCL shipping, supporting broader adoption of digital documentation across the logistics sector.
