Investor Group Services has introduced a new AI Practice to help private equity firms and portfolio companies develop and implement AI strategies. The team will be led by Chief AI Officer Justin Bass and Partner Hachem Alaoui.

Investor Group Services has launched a new AI Practice to help private equity firms and portfolio companies build and execute strategies for artificial intelligence, announced in a press release. The Boston based consulting firm said the specialized team will assist clients in identifying opportunities, assessing readiness, and deploying AI systems at scale.

The AI Practice will be led by Justin Bass, who joins as Chief AI Officer, and Hachem Alaoui, Partner. Bass brings experience in AI implementation, machine learning strategy, and enterprise technology transformation. Alaoui contributes over 15 years of experience in strategic consulting, transaction advisory, and operational leadership.

According to the announcement, the new team will support clients through the full process of AI adoption, covering diligence, governance, change management, and scalable deployment. The AI Practice is available to clients immediately.
