IntelAgree Report Finds 62% of Teams Concerned About Risks in Legacy Contracts
In a press release, IntelAgree announced its 2026 CLM Trends Report, highlighting how legal and contract teams are adapting to faster work cycles, regulatory pressures, and AI integration. The research surveyed over 50 general counsel, legal operations leaders, and senior contract professionals from companies managing between 500 and 5,000 contracts annually.
According to the report, 95% of respondents are exploring or have implemented AI in contract workflows, while 81% identified speeding up contract review and approval as a top priority for 2026. The study also found that 71% of teams face challenges meeting shorter turnaround times and 62% are concerned about unknown risks in legacy contracts.
IntelAgree said the report aims to help organizations benchmark their contract management strategies as AI adoption and regulatory changes reshape the industry. The report covers five key areas: speed and complexity pressures, negotiation bottlenecks, visibility gaps in contract portfolios, AI adoption trends, and 2026 preparedness.
