IndicaOnline Launches AI Platform for Dispensary Data and Automation

May 28, 2026
IndicaOnline has released IndicaOnline AI, a platform that allows dispensary operators to query and act on live POS data through the Model Context Protocol. The system includes specialized agents for analysis, monitoring, and automation across retail operations.

IndicaOnline announced in a press release the launch of IndicaOnline AI, a platform designed to let cannabis dispensary operators access and act on live point of sale data using the Model Context Protocol. The system allows any compatible AI client to query dispensary data in natural language without requiring a proprietary business intelligence dashboard.

IndicaOnline AI includes six agents that monitor operations in real time: Revenue Analyst, Delivery Optimizer, Customer Intelligence Agent, Inventory Watchdog, Loss Prevention Monitor, and Brand Strategist. Each agent is available through the protocol and can be combined into custom workflows.

The platform connects with IndicaOnline's Open API to enable AI assisted actions such as editing product profiles, creating discounts, and placing delivery orders. All write actions are previewed before execution and logged for auditing. The company stated that no personally identifiable information leaves its secure environment. IndicaOnline AI is available as an extension for existing IndicaOnline accounts without additional data migration or separate implementation.
