Ilmor and HavocAI have announced a partnership to integrate advanced electric propulsion technology with autonomous vessel platforms, focusing on national security applications.

Ilmor and HavocAI have announced an exclusive long-term partnership to integrate advanced electric propulsion technology with autonomous vessel platforms, focusing on national security applications. In a press release, the companies revealed that they will leverage the "ION Unleashed," a custom electric propulsion system specifically engineered for autonomous operations.

The ION Unleashed is an enhanced version of Ilmor's consumer "ION 6" electric outboard motor, designed to meet the demanding requirements of autonomous maritime operations. It features advanced power mapping capabilities that allow for customizable power output profiles, providing enhanced performance bursts while maintaining reliability.

This collaboration combines Ilmor's engineering capabilities with HavocAI's autonomous systems, offering sophisticated remote control and communication profiles. The electric propulsion systems are already operational and undergoing trials on HavocAI's range of autonomous vessels, supporting their mission to deliver cutting-edge maritime defense solutions.
