illumend Wins Silver Globee Award for AI Transformation in Insurance Compliance

illumend has received a Silver Globee Award and Best of Category recognition for its AI platform that modernizes insurance compliance and third-party risk management, according to a company announcement.

illumend announced in a press release that it has received a Silver Globee Award and been named Best of Category in AI Native Transformation of a Legacy Product at the 2026 Globee Awards for Artificial Intelligence. The company earned the highest score in its category for its platform that applies AI to insurance compliance and third party risk management.

Launched by myCOI, illumend uses AI to help organizations identify coverage gaps, detect underinsurance, and manage compliance processes. The platform replaces manual document tracking and fragmented reviews with automated workflows and guided decision support.

At the core of illumend is Lumie, a conversational AI assistant that reads insurance documents, highlights potential issues, and explains next steps in plain language. The system supports document collection, validation, monitoring, and resolution, while maintaining audit ready records.

illumend builds on myCOI’s data foundation, which includes over 45 million processed documents and more than two million identified coverage gaps. The Globee Awards recognize companies advancing AI through measurable industry impact.
