IISc Foundation and IndusSetu Partner to Advance Global Medical Research and Equity

The IISc Foundation and IndusSetu Global Foundation have signed an MoU to collaborate on medical research, translational science, and equitable healthcare across India and the US.

The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Foundation and IndusSetu Global Foundation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on advancing medical research, translational science, and equitable healthcare access, announced in a press release.

The partnership, formalized on September 4, 2025, connects institutions in California, Texas, and Bengaluru to share research, talent, and innovation in healthcare. It will include global programs such as symposia, innovation showcases, and expert panels centered on affordable healthcare and MedTech commercialization.

The collaboration also aims to support women's health, oncology, clinical training, and equity-driven research through the IISc Tata Medical School and Bagchi-Parthasarathy Hospital. Both organizations plan to establish a Founders Circle to bring together donors and partners committed to expanding accessible medical innovation.

According to the announcement, the partnership seeks to build a global bridge between India’s scientific community and Silicon Valley’s innovation ecosystem to accelerate the translation of research into practical healthcare solutions.
