Hoverfly Technologies Secures $20 Million Series B Funding

Hoverfly Technologies has announced a $20 million Series B funding round led by Leonardo DRS and Korea Robot Manufacturing to enhance its tethered drone systems.

Hoverfly Technologies has announced the successful close of its $20 million Series B funding round, announced in a press release. The investment was led by existing partner Leonardo DRS, contributing $15 million, and new investor Korea Robot Manufacturing, which added $5 million.

This funding marks the largest capital raise in Hoverfly's history and aims to bolster its position in the tethered drone sector, a key area in U.S. and allied defense initiatives. The funds will be used to scale operations and expand product offerings, as well as to establish a U.S.-based supply chain for critical UAV components.
