HeyGen Launches Voice Model for AI Video Creation

HeyGen announced in a press release the launch of HeyGen Voice, an in house model for generating speech in AI videos. The company says the model ranked first on the Artificial Analysis leaderboard in independent evaluations of AI voice models.

HeyGen Voice reproduces the tone, pacing, emphasis and expression of a user's voice. It is available free through the HeyGen platform and API, and works within the same system as the company's Avatar V model.

A Professional Voice Clone option costs $99 per month and requires 30 minutes to three hours of recorded speech from the voice owner. HeyGen says training requires the owner's explicit consent and includes controls for how the voice and likeness are represented.

The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
