Hero Esports announced in a press release that its CyberHero robotic sports initiative will debut in Riyadh on September 9, 2026. The company describes the showcase as the first humanoid robot kickboxing event in the Middle East.

The event will feature ten T800 humanoid robots from EngineAI competing in a purpose built combat arena. Each robot is about 1.73 meters tall, weighs between 75 and 85 kilograms, and has 29 articulated joints for movements including walking, running, punching, kicking, turning, and recovering after falls.

The approximately two hour event will begin at 9:00 PM and include music, lighting, and a live DJ set. Hero Esports plans to hold additional CyberHero events in other major cities.

The company also plans to establish a scholar program connecting Saudi Arabia and China. Its first phase will offer up to 30 Saudi students visits to robotics companies, technology institutions, and other organizations across three Chinese cities.
