The Hashgraph Group Launches TrackTrace for EU Digital Product Passport Compliance
The Hashgraph Group has launched TrackTrace, a fully managed enterprise platform designed to support compliance with the EU’s Digital Product Passport (DPP) regulations under the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation, announced in a press release.
TrackTrace provides end-to-end transparency and traceability for supply chains by tracking products from origin to end-of-life. It uses decentralized identifiers and verifiable credentials to create immutable audit trails of product data, including sustainability credentials, durability, and reparability. The system integrates with existing enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and supports GDPR compliance by design.
Built on the Hedera network, the platform links physical events with digital records in a tamper-proof environment. It incorporates The Hashgraph Group’s IDTrust identity solution and leverages agentic AI for workflow automation and compliant DPP reporting. The DPP regulation, set to take effect in 2027, will require digital records for all products sold or imported into the EU, covering sectors such as textiles, electronics, and construction materials.
The Hashgraph Group is collaborating with PwC and other enterprises to implement TrackTrace for DPP compliance, enabling companies to maintain market access and transparency across global supply chains.
