Harness Launches Code Repository and AI Code Review for Coding Agents
Harness launched Agent-Ready Harness Code Repository and AI Code Review for teams using AI coding agents, the company announced in a press release. The tools are available now and are designed to manage larger volumes of code, pull requests, and reviews.
Harness Code Repository supports thousands of pull requests and commits opened at once. The company says search, file history, and diffs continue to work at that volume across repositories with many branches.
The repository also gives coding agents scoped permissions. Agents inherit permissions from the people who start them, and teams can set access by repository, branch, or environment using role based access control and Open Policy Agent policies.
AI Code Review adds required AI checks that can block merges when a pull request fails a rule. It groups diffs by risk, suggests reviewers and labels, and can propose fixes for review feedback.
Harness said the tools work through the Harness MCP and command line interface. Teams can start with 50 GB of free storage, and migration support covers GitHub organizations, GitLab groups, Bitbucket workspaces, and Azure DevOps projects.
