Halia Therapeutics has appointed Paul Jones as Chief Strategy Officer & GM, International Markets to accelerate its GENMOR-AI platform, according to a press release.

Halia Therapeutics has appointed Paul Jones as Chief Strategy Officer & GM, International Markets, announced in a press release. In this newly created role, Jones will focus on accelerating GENMOR-AI, the company's proprietary platform for identifying genetic modifiers of disease using artificial intelligence.

Jones brings over 30 years of experience in life sciences, with expertise in genomics and digital health transformation. His previous roles include CEO of the Omics Centre of Excellence at M42 and Global Head of Population Genomics at Illumina. His appointment aims to strengthen Halia's APOE4 program in Alzheimer's disease and expand partnerships with entities like the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi.

Halia Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing therapies based on genetic resilience, targeting inflammatory pathways in various diseases. The company is leveraging AI and genetic insights to build a pipeline of novel therapeutics.
