Halia Therapeutics has appointed Paul Jones as Chief Strategy Officer & GM, International Markets, announced in a press release. In this newly created role, Jones will focus on accelerating GENMOR-AI, the company's proprietary platform for identifying genetic modifiers of disease using artificial intelligence.

Jones brings over 30 years of experience in life sciences, with expertise in genomics and digital health transformation. His previous roles include CEO of the Omics Centre of Excellence at M42 and Global Head of Population Genomics at Illumina. His appointment aims to strengthen Halia's APOE4 program in Alzheimer's disease and expand partnerships with entities like the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi.
