September 25, 2025
GUNSENS has introduced its AI-powered Gun Threat Detection Platform at GSX 2025, designed to significantly reduce police response times in emergencies.

GUNSENS has launched its privacy-first, AI-powered Gun Threat Detection Platform at GSX 2025, announced in a press release. The platform aims to cut police response times from the national average of 18 minutes to mere seconds, enhancing outcomes in life-threatening situations.

The system features compact, tamper-proof, waterproof AI detectors that can identify threats in less than a second. These devices are scalable and can be deployed in various locations such as schools, workplaces, and public venues, wherever cellular service is available. Upon detecting an active threat, the platform alerts nearby officers via the GUNSENS SOS app and updates local police systems with detailed threat location information.

Additional components include the GUNSENS SOS Panic Button, which allows users to summon help instantly, and Citizen-Powered Live Video, enabling app users to stream live video to first responders. This comprehensive approach provides law enforcement with actionable intelligence within seconds, potentially saving lives in critical situations.
