Groq has announced an exclusive partnership with Bell Canada to power the Bell AI Fabric, Canada's largest sovereign AI infrastructure project. Announced in a press release, this initiative will establish a national AI network across six sites, targeting 500MW of clean, hydro-powered compute. The project begins with a 7MW Groq facility in Kamloops, British Columbia, set to come online in June.

Groq's expansion includes new data centers in Houston and Dallas, increasing its global network capacity to over 20 million tokens per second. The company's LPU-based systems are designed for real-time inference, offering unmatched speed and efficiency. This partnership aims to provide faster response times and stronger data governance by bringing AI infrastructure closer to users.

"Through Bell AI Fabric, we're building the backbone for Canada's AI economy," said Mirko Bibic, President & CEO of BCE and Bell Canada. Groq's technology is expected to deliver the speed and efficiency required by Bell Canada's customers, enhancing the nation's AI capabilities.
