GreenCore Solutions Launches Barcode Resolver for AI Agents

GreenCore Solutions launched gtinfetch.ai, a service that lets AI agents identify grocery products from barcodes and pay for results within the same request.

GreenCore Solutions announced in a press release the launch of gtinfetch.ai, a service that lets AI agents resolve Global Trade Item Numbers for grocery products. The company says the service answers 84 million barcodes and is built for grocery transactions in 20 countries.

gtinfetch.ai uses Model Context Protocol and runs on Microsoft Azure and Cloudflare infrastructure. AI agents can submit a barcode through the fetch_gtin tool, while an Agent to Agent card and registry listings support connection with agent frameworks.

The service also offers an x402 endpoint that accepts USDC and Open USD payments on Base. An agent can receive a charge, pay it and obtain the barcode result within the same request.
