Previously, the webpage included terms like 'marginalized communities', 'diverse', 'underrepresented groups', and 'equity'. These have been replaced with more general terms such as 'all', 'varied', and 'numerous'. Google has not responded to requests for comment on these changes.
This update comes after Google announced in February that it would eliminate its diversity hiring targets and review its diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs. The move aligns with similar actions by other tech giants like Amazon and Meta, who have also scaled back DEI initiatives in recent months.
