Previously, Jules was accessible only via its website and GitHub.

The new CLI, named Jules Tools, allows developers to interact with Jules directly from their terminal, streamlining workflows by reducing the need to switch between different interfaces. Developers can now create tasks, list active sessions, and monitor Jules without leaving the command line. Additionally, the public API enables developers to integrate Jules with their existing tools and environments, such as IDEs like VSCode.

Google has also introduced a memory feature for Jules, allowing it to learn from user interactions and improve task execution over time. This feature is designed to enhance the accuracy of Jules' outputs by referencing past interactions and user preferences.

These updates come as part of Google's efforts to reduce developers' reliance on GitHub and explore integration with other code hosting providers.
