GN Announces ReSound Sensia AI Hearing Aids
GN announced in a press release ReSound Sensia, a new premium hearing aid line built on its new AI platform. The system combines AcoustIQ sound classification, four microphone directional beamforming, and deep neural network noise reduction to adjust speech and background noise automatically.
AcoustIQ analyzes sound environments in real time and activates hearing features based on the setting. ReSound Sensia is designed to let users focus on a sound source by turning toward it, while DNN noise reduction works to make conversations clearer in noisy places.
GN also introduced ReSound Sensia Bimodal and ReSound Enzo IA Bimodal, which are designed to work with Cochlear Nucleus sound processors. The ReSound Sensia line and the equivalent Beltone Illuminate line will be available in the United States, Germany, and Austria on August 20, with other markets to follow in the coming months.
