Global Study Finds AI Accelerating Project Delivery by 25 Percent
Organizations adopting artificial intelligence are delivering projects up to 25 percent faster, announced in a press release detailing the 2025 Global AIPM Survey. The study, conducted by Prof. Antonio Nieto-Rodriguez and Dr. Ricardo Viana Vargas, collected insights from 870 professionals across 97 countries.
The survey found that more than 60 percent of professionals are already using or experimenting with AI tools, while over half of organizations have integrated AI into their project delivery. Early adopters reported measurable improvements in forecasting, resource management, and risk reduction.
With $48 trillion invested annually in global projects, the study suggests that even modest efficiency gains could translate into trillions in value creation. It also notes that cultural resistance and lack of trust have overtaken technical barriers as the primary challenges to AI adoption in project management.
